Whatever the weather; rain or shine, children are always welcome at the Canvas Café. We know what it’s like trying to keep everyone happy which is why we’ve created a space where adults can relax, and children can play or vice-versa – that’s fine with us! So, If you’re looking for somewhere that is family friendly to while away a couple of hours, here’s what you can expect to find at the Canvas Café.
Child-friendly catering
The newest addition to the Canvas Café is our children’s menu, full of tasty treats. We love receiving feedback from our visitors and where possible putting it into action – and that’s exactly what’s happened here. Available all day, there is always a wide selection of wholesome options to choose from. We understand there are fussy-eaters and varying dietary requirements and nothing is too much to ask, just let us know what you need, and we’ll see what we can do.
We’ve also put our own take on pick ‘n’ mix – come along and see for yourself.
Play Days
Monday means playday at the Canvas Café and we invite everyone to come along and play. Every Monday the children’s play area is extended so they can play to their hearts content. Located on the outskirts of Market Harborough it’s a great place to meet up with friends and family where the children can play whilst you catch up over a coffee and piece of cake. The play area is always available but on a Monday there’s a lot more space for play!
Children’s Yoga
Yoga Dabba Doo, children’s yoga, takes place at the Canvas Café every Thursday morning from 10.00am and is suitable for children 2.5 years old and up. The theme of the session changes each week and there is no need to book, just rock up and join in. Cost per child is £4, parents can also join in too or sit back and relax with a cup of coffee instead.
Set back from the main road, surrounded by wildlife and nature, the Canvas Café is a safe haven for families to come and visit. Enjoy some screen-free time and let the peaceful surroundings distract you from the usual chaos that surrounds us all. Say hello to our resident pigs, see what vegetables you can spot growing in our vegetable patch and follow the path down to the Brampton Valley Way where you can take a stroll and enjoy the fresh countryside air.
We want families to have fun with us and feel at ease throughout their visit. Family days out can be hectic but at the Canvas Café they don’t need to be. We welcome all ages and furry friends too. During school holidays and other occasions, we often offer a variety of child-friendly workshops everything from cookie decorating to sushi rolling.
