Catering and Functions at The Canvas Café
Whatever you feel like celebrating, commemorating or hosting, we may have just the space for you!
Our lovely Canvas Café is available to be hired out for any manner of event, and can seat up to 40 people. Plus, we can cater for just as many (and sometimes more)!
Room Hire and Catering
We have a number of catering options:
- Evening meals – whether you’re looking for a simple hearty 1-course meal, a leisurely 5-course meal, or something in between, we can work with you to tailor a menu to your tastes and needs.
- BYOB – you bring the booze, we’ll cook up a storm and clear up after.
- Afternoon tea – cakes, sandwiches, homemade scones & of course, tea….what’s not to love! Perfect for a sophisticated hen party or girly get-together.
- Tea & cake – if you’d like to keep things sweet and simple, we can provide a selection of tea and cakes for all of your guests.
- Children meals – whether you would like a get together full of kiddie sized nibbles, or a miniature meal for each child, let us know and we can create a package to suit the age and tastes of the guests!
- Tea and Coffee – if you’d like to host a book club or annual secret spy meeting, and would simply like tea and coffee provided for each of the attendees, we’re happy to oblige. Our cakes and normal menu will also be on offer if anyone fancies a little more sustenance.
- Cake – Every good party requires a cake, we’re more than happy for you to bring your own celebration cake, or we can provide one, decorated and filled to your specification.
We are able to offer vegan catering, vegetarian catering, dairy-free and gluten free catering.
No catering request is too weird, or too wild, we like a challenge. We may even be able to put some of your guests up in our yurts, availability permitting. Please let us know if you are likely to require accommodation as well.
Room Hire Only
If you require only a space for your function, meeting or event, our Canvas Café can be hired alone. We can arrange the space to suit your needs. We can keep the tables, chairs and sofas in place, or move them to one side in order to free up more floor space (so much room for activities!).
External Catering
If you’re hosting a garden party or a picnic in a park, and don’t have the time or desire to prepare food for a large number of people, we’re here to save you. We’re expert picnic makers, and are happy to deliver food within a 10 mile radius of our Canvas Café.
