Thursday 20th June – Canvas Café Craft Evening: Indian Block Printing Workshop

This month’s Canvas Café Craft Evening will be an Indian block printing workshop led by Caroline Creates.

You will be able to create your own unique hand printed drawstring or tote bag, using blocks handmade by a Fairtrade project in Jaipur! This is a fun workshop and no experience is necessary.

You’ll be shown the basics of block printing, as well as some different techniques to help you create your own design. There will be practice fabric for you to use, so that you can have a few test runs, before you get going on your bag!

There will be a wide range of blocks and colours to choose from, and there will also be some examples on show to help spark your creativity!

A welcome drink and nibbles during the workshop will also be included.

Tickets can be booked here.
