The big question we are being asked at the moment is “Can we still book a glamping break at Country Bumpkin Yurts?”
The short answer is yes, you can enjoy glamping in the midlands later in the year. We’ll explain some more detail in this blog. But, first of all, how are you? We hope you and your families are keeping well and finding moments of calm during this pandemic.
What have you been doing with your time? Lara and I have been using this time to develop the glamping site. Your yurt experience will be better than ever when the time comes for us all to venture outside again. It helps to keep us positive and motivated too. Next on our list is to build a beautiful new decking area around the hot tub!
We are also using this time to plan our new holidays to replace the ones we’ve missed in lockdown. Are you doing this too? This extra time is great for glamping daydreaming. Just imagine the rolling Leicestershire hills and Northamptonshire farmland all around you… Bliss.
So, glamping in the midlands soon?
This lockdown seems endless right now – but it will end. We will be here ready to help you get out, relax, and explore after being cooped up. In our humble opinion, glamping in the Midlands is the perfect way to use the new-found freedom. A bit of ‘green therapy’ will help to restore our souls.
The timeline for the current restrictions is still unclear so we have added extra flexibility to our booking process. This should allow you to plan without the anxiety of losing out if things change (or do not change, as the case may be). So far, we have made the following updates:
- Low deposit; we have reduced our deposit amount from 50% of the booking price to just 15%.
- Free date changes; if the restrictions are extended to impact your stay, you are welcome to choose new dates for your trip at no extra cost.
- 1-night option; we have added the ability to book 1-night stays during the week so that you can escape for a mini-break when you need it. NB, this is only available for mid-week breaks.
With these new yurt booking updates, we hope to help you plan and feel excited to go glamping again soon. When we are able to travel again, I wonder if we will have a new appreciation of the beauty of the places on our doorstep and a renewed desire to explore the UK. The East Midlands is a real gem worth visiting (we may be a little bias).
Combine this beautiful area with the experience of being in a circular yurt (instead of the 4 walls of our houses) and there is the potential for the sense of adventure we are all yearning right now. Experience the nature that has flourished in our absence. Hear the bird song magnified. Sit around a firepit. Then soak in the outdoor hot tub under the stars.
