I love that you can travel just an hour or so away from any location in the UK and you can feel like you could be a million miles away. That’s the joy of being on a lush little island with such varied topography.
There is also tonnes to do when exploring the UK, especially where we are. The East Midlands boasts a huge amount to see and do. We recommend checking out our local area online before you arrive. Having a good idea of what you can do means you can be prepared for different activities in different weather.
