2022, we’re ready for you!
The yurts are back up and our guests have christened the glamping site for 2022. It feels good to be yurt glamping again after our winter hibernation. This weekend is our 4th weekend of being open so time is already flying by.
What does 2022 have in store for us at Country Bumpkin Yurts? Lots of fun, families, and favourites.
Fun
We know that 2022 will be full of fun! Fun for us seeing everyone happy; even more fun for those enjoying a country staycation in the yurts. We have plenty of hen parties booked in at weekends and lots of birthday celebrations planned.
Many of our group bookings will book a workshop on-site to make their stay extra exciting. We have great relationships with lovely people who can run yoga, flower crown making, sausage making and so much more. Visit our ‘Things to do’ page for more info on this. Guests are also welcome to arrange their own workshops or activities using other providers. Silent discos have been popular in previous years.
Families
The school holidays belong to the families. We are super excited when families come for a yurt staycation. It is filled with the sense of adventure of camping, which the kids love, and involves comfy beds and a lot less hassle, which the parents love. It is win-win. Plus, the farm makes a delightful setting for a family getaway. Yurt glamping on a farm means you get to make furry friends of all kinds. The highland cows can be particularly chatty.
Favourites
This year will see plenty of our yurt glamping favourites, like the farm shop, great events, and the great outdoors.
The farm shop is ready to take orders for delicious bbq boxes and bottles of local beer. They have expanded their range of ready meals and cooked dishes so there is even more to get your tastebuds going. You can buy a beautifully cooked chicken in the shop, so you can still have your Sunday roast whilst glamping!
Another favourite coming back this year is events. We’re kicking off the year with a Yurt Yoga and Afternoon Tea event on 11th April (which is fully booked – sorry) and we have a few other event ideas in the pipeline. Kirsty at Waterloo Cottage Farm is also teaming up with talented local people to deliver events that will feed and fascinate you. Check out their events page for more info here.
One of our hopes for the 2022 glamping season is to welcome more nature to our little spot in the great outdoors. We’ll be introducing bird and bat boxes (once I’ve built them), bug hotels, and hedgehog hideaways. We also plan to turn a few areas into wildflower meadows to give the pollinators a boost. This will give you, our guest, plenty of life to watch as you sit and relax by the yurts.
Yurt glamping is 2022 is shaping up to be a good ‘un!
Is 2022 the year you will join us for some yurt glamping? We’d love to have you with us. Our weekends are booking up very fast (with only a few left) and our mid-week availability will soon fill up so I would get in there quick. The best way to book is via our website here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Country Bumpkin Yurts.
